Only humankind is capable of using the power of words — until now. In 2018, an Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) had a phone conversation with a human being. It made use of the human language in such a natural way, that its interlocutor had no doubt about talking to a human. Machines learn to handle language more and more precisely. Furthermore, mimical expressions and gestures have become calculable and viable for humanoid robots. So, when machines appear increasingly humanlike to us — how will we differentiate between humankind and A.I. and define ourselves as a species in the future?
